Uh, yeah…

March 5th, 2008

My cat locked me out of the house today. I went to get the mail, came back, walked up the front steps, and grabbed the handle of the screen door. The door wouldn’t open. I knocked on the door and waited while one of my sisters came to open the door. When I stepped inside, there sat the cat, blinking at me. She had actually flipped the switch to lock the door. She was sitting on the table beside the door wearing an expression too deep and catlike for me to grasp. But I know she was laughing at me. I think it was payback for the pictures of her bath.

    He he.

Cats are supra-animal sometimes, aren’t they? They look at me and not only do I think they know exactly what’s going on; they’re reading my mind!

Tinker has done that to me twice, but she locked me out of the car! Around here, it’s no big deal to leave your keys in the car for a short amt. of time. I’ve had to get used to that - I would never have done it in Little Rock! Anyway, one time was when I was getting gas. I left the keys and Tinker in the car, and when I shut the door, she jumped up at the window and locked it! The other time was at a bank. I had just run in for like 2 seconds to turn in an application to work there. So then I had to go back in to borrow their phone to call Matthew…no wonder I don’t have a job there! :)
